Dental Tooth Crowns
This process involves cleaning out the inside of one’s tooth, called the pulp, as it’s the material that’s infected and causing damage and pain. Once the tooth has been adequately cleaned, it must be sealed to prevent further issues. Acting almost like a complex cap, a crown is used to cover the tooth after a root canal and is customized to look incredibly natural using one of several materials.
The process of receiving a crown can sometimes be involved, as it must fit exactly right in order to keep bacteria from entering the now hollow tooth.
